Are you, or anyone you know, aged 75 or over and caring for someone who cannot manage on their own because they are ill, frail or have a disability?
Do you or they also struggle to access support because the person being cared for cannot be left? Or perhaps have a difficulty communicating over the telephone and would benefit from face-to-face support. If so, our Caring for Older Carers service is here to help. Once a referral is received a home visit will be arranged with a dedicated support worker who will inform, advise and guide the carer to insure they receive all the help and support they are entitled to.
This service is being run by Jo Dover, who is the Caring for Older Carers service coordinator at Carers Bucks.
