Advocacy is taking action to help people say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need. If you have a complex issue that requires an advocate Carers Bucks staff can refer you to an appropriate advocacy organisation who will be able to take on your case.

Aylesbury Vale Advocates - helping people with either a learning disability or a mental health problem, who have difficulty communicating their needs. Contact 01296 432313.

People's Voices - provides advocacy services for people with learning or physical disabilities in the Chiltern and South Bucks areas. Contact 0845 241 0986.

Talkback - user led organisation for people with learning disabilities. Contact 01494 434448.
