Emotional Support and a Listening Ear
Carers can contact Carers Bucks for individual support either over the phone or by visiting our offices.
Carer Support Workers are always available for you to talk to, both in a crisis and if you want to talk about your situation more generally. The support available is free, confidential and non-judgemental.
Support is also available through our groups, which meet throughout the county. Groups give you the chance to meet people in similar situations and to share common experiences, frustrations and information.
In the south of the county we have a group of ex-Carers, with professional training in listening skills, available to visit you at home. We hope soon to be able to extend this scheme to the Aylesbury area and north of the county. Contact our Wycombe office for further details.
