Macy who raised nearly £500 for our Young Carers

As a charity Carers Bucks relies on donations and practical help to carry out our vital work supporting family Carers. We are grateful to our funders who continue to support us but we always need more help. Here are some of the ways you could support our work:

Make a Donation

There are a number of ways you can make a donation to support the work of Carers Bucks:

Use Your Mobile Phone

Carers Bucks can now accept donations via mobile phone. All you need to do is text the code BUCK10 £1/5/10 (ie the amount you want to donate) to 70070 and a make a difference to the lives of carers.

Donate via Justgiving

You can also donate securely online via the Justgiving website - just find our page and follow the instructions. You can also catch up with what our fabulous fundraisers have been up while you're there.

Send a cheque

You can still donate using traditional methods. Write us a cheque out to Carers Bucks, and drop it into one of our offices or send to Ardenham Court, Oxford Road, Aylesbury HP19 8HT.

Your donations help us to help Carers in many ways including:

giving a Carer a break from their 24/7 caring role
paying for a piece of essential equipment to make their caring role easier
funding young Carers to have some fun away from their caring role.

Could you be a regular donor?

Just £5 per month would pay for 8 hours of respite care a year for a Carer desperate for a break.

Shop Online and Raise Funds

If you use ebay to buy or sell you can now donate to Carers Bucks at the same time.
This can be in the form of a donation on top of the price you pay for your goods or by
donating a percentage of the selling price of your item. Carers Bucks is now registered
with ebay so all you need to do is select us from the list of charities.

Carers Bucks is also part of TheGivingMachine - a scheme where every online purchase you make triggers a payment to your charity of choice from the retailer - at no cost to you. All of the big names are there - ebay, Amazon, John Lewis, House of Fraser, Boots, Tesco etc. All you need to do is go to www.TheGivingMachine.co.uk and join as a shopper/giver and choose to support Carers Bucks. You just need to remember to shop via TheGivingMachine every time you buy online.

Volunteering

We need volunteers for a variety of activities, including:

drivers to help our Young Carers get to activities and events
people with administrative skills to help us out in the office
joining our Board of Trustees to undertake the strategic management of Carers Bucks and Carers Milton Keynes.

All our volunteers are given full training and we can assure you of a valued and valuable role within the Carers Bucks team.
