Support Us

As a charity, Carers Bucks relies on both donations and practical help to carry out our work. We are very grateful to the funding bodies who have supported us and continue to do so. But we always need more help and some of the ways you can help us are listed below. If you would like more information on any of these opportunities, please contact us.

Making a Donation

If you feel able to make a donation, please send a cheque made payable to Carers Bucks and send it to Ardenham Court, Oxford Road, Aylesbury, Bucks HP19 8HT. Your donations help us to help Carers in so many ways including:

Stamp Collecting

In order to keep Carers informed we mail out thousands of items a year which, as you can imagine, costs us a huge amount of money. To keep these costs down we are asking for donations of unused stamps or books of stamps. This will mean that we can channel our hard pressed resources to other areas of supporting Carers. Send your unused stamps to our office in Aylesbury or Wycombe.

Volunteering

We need volunteers for a variety of activities, including:

All our volunteers are given full training and we can assure you of a valued and valuable role within the Carers Bucks team.

New Hospital Project

We are currently recruitiing volunteers for our new project which involves visiting Carers in the local hospitals, handing out Carers Bucks' information packs and raising awareness of our services. Hospital volunteers will be issued with Carers Bucks' t-shirts and identity badges. Let us know if you would like to help with this exciting new project.

Fundraising

Could you run a coffee morning to support Carers Bucks? Or a quiz? There are a million fun ways to raise money, some of which are listed below. We’ll give you all the support we can, including helping you with posters, tickets, and lots more, so give us a call if you would like to help.

Carer’s Ambassadors

Are you an active member of a rural community? Could you be an information point for family Carers in your community who need information, or make sure there is always information in your community centre, library or shop about the support available to Carers?

Carers in rural communities can be particularly isolated particularly if transport links are poor and we need people to help these Carers access support from Carers Bucks and other agencies who could help.
