54 Holes of Golf Raises over £1000

When Ian turned 54 earlier this year, Brian and Nigel hit upon the idea of playing 54 holes of golf to mark the occasion, firstly for charitable reasons but also for fun! These keen golfers all work for Bluebird Care, a care agency that works with Carers Bucks and felt that this was a great way of supporting our work.

So on the 1st August they played 54 holes across 3 golf courses - Denham, Stoke Park and Huntswood - and raised over £1000 for adult carers. Our thanks go to Ian, Brian and Nigel for their efforts as well as to the golf clubs who generously supported them by offering complimentary tee times. Macy raises over £480 for Young Carers

Macy, aged 8, (pictured above) successfully completed her sponsored cycle ride on Sunday 31st July and raised an astonishing £480.50 for our Young Carers. We would like to say a big thank you to Macy for her amazing effort and to all her generous sponsors. This money will be used to improve the lives of young carers in Bucks.
