Access to Information and Advice

Employers should make information easily accessible via a company intranet or staff handbook. Some organisations have employee assistance schemes which staff can access for impartial information and advice. Carers UK and Princess Royal Trust for Carers can advise Carers on a range of issues via their helpline and web sites.

Carers Milton Keynes offers Carers advice and information on work and caring and our Support Workers are able to attend meetings with Carers, help draft letters and provide advocacy support. We are developing a range of services aimed particularly at working Carers which we will be introducing in the Autumn (2010).
